I could try just replacing the HOT knowing that it will probably blow again. I'm thinking about ordering 2 hots and a cap kit. ![]() That would be awesome if that is my only issue. What other tests should I do before ordering a HOT? I've read an older post from Ken Layton that sometimes the HOT can fail and be the only part effected. And the board in that area near those diodes Is there a way I can test this flyback for shorts or ohms out of circuit before I order a new one? I should probably jumper each pad to nearest good pad. flimsy lifted pads but still make contact with trace. I don't have an ecr meter to check capacitor readings though. Pulled and checked caps at c172, c174 and c176. Black lead middle leg and red lead right leg continuity.
